What We Do

Four services. The right machine for each.

From reclaiming an overgrown quarter-section to prepping a driveway entrance — a 2–3 person crew on-site, with the owner running the estimate and staying involved on the job.

01

Forestry Mulching

Brush and bush removal done in a single pass — small trees and undergrowth ground into mulch on-site. No burn piles, no hauling; the mulch stays and feeds the soil.

02

Land Clearing & Tree Removal

Reclaim overgrown acreage, pasture, and fence lines — or take down trees and clear your lot as site prep before a new build. Light brush to dense bush, cleared and left usable.

03

Driveway Installation

Driveway prep, grading, and base work for acreages and rural properties needing proper year-round access to a new build or existing yard.

04

Culverts & Drainage

Culvert placement for driveways and field entrances, plus flood clearing and drainage-path cleanup — sized and set for Manitoba freeze-thaw.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

How long does clearing an acre take?

Depends on the density — light brush might take a couple hours, heavy bush can take most of a day. You'll get an accurate timeline at your free on-site estimate.

Do you haul the debris away?

By default the mulch stays right on your property — it feeds the soil and saves you the cost of hauling. No burn piles needed.

What if it rains on the scheduled day?

We'll work with you to reschedule — wet ground isn't ideal for equipment or your property, so we'd rather come back than cause rutting.

Do you work through the winter?

Yes — frozen ground often means less rutting and a shorter wait than spring, when thaw restrictions can delay bookings.

How is pricing determined?

Hourly rate depends on wood density (hardwood like oak takes longer to chip than softwood like poplar), plus a minimum callout for smaller jobs. Driveways and culverts are quoted on-site since every job is different.

What areas do you service?

Selkirk and the wider Interlake region — see the full list of towns below, or just call and ask.

How much does it cost to clear an acre in Manitoba?

It depends on how dense the bush is and what's growing — softwood like poplar runs $250/hr and hardwood like oak runs $350/hr to mulch. A light acre might take a couple hours; heavy bush can take a day. The free on-site estimate gives you a firm number before anything starts.

Do you remove trees near houses and buildings?

Yes — tree removal near homes, sheds, and yards is regular work for us. We assess each tree on-site and take it down safely with the right machine for the space.

Do you clear fence lines and pastures?

Yes — fence line clearing, pasture reclaim, and overgrown field edges are exactly what forestry mulching is built for. The mulch stays down and slows regrowth.
